The City of Tuskegee’s Street Division is committed to protecting public health and safety while providing reliable service rendered with professionalism.

The Streets Division is committed to providing a safe street system for motorists and pedestrians.  This includes a storm cleanup, litter control, maintaining existing municipal and community parks, maintaining all city right-of ways, Lake Tuskegee-Ford, all city buildings and rendering assistance to other Divisions, through effective and efficient maintenance, with an emphasis on exceptional customer service.

In carrying out our mission, we patch pot-holes as needed and maintain a debris removal system to allow safe transportation throughout the community. In addition, we beautify the Town Square as needed for various events and holidays.

Important Reminders

  • Trash pick-up (curb-side items) should be no more than a one-half of a pickup truck load, each month. If you have more than that amount, the city will charge you one-hundred ($100.00) per load to remove curb-side items.
  • Trash (tree limbs) is supposed to be cut six (6”) inches in diameter and no longer than ten (10’) feet in length. No electrical devices, please.
  • If you have any questions pertaining to garbage, trash, pot-holes, overgrown streets, dirt streets which may needing grading or drains; call our Mr. Edward Thomas, Director at (334) 421-4799, Mr. Scott, Asst. Supervisor at (334) 339-1116.
