Frank Christopher Lee, II.

The Honorable Frank Christopher Lee, II.
(334) 221-4277

Frank Christopher Lee II was elected in 2012 to Tuskegee’s City Council, representing District 1.  At age 24, he is the youngest person in history elected to the Council. He performs double duty as Vice Chairman of the Utilities Board of  Tuskegee. Passionate about his hometown and confident that he had substantive ideas that could be of value, Lee ran for the District 1 City Council seat in 2012 and won. This historically rich neighborhood includes Tuskegee University and two national landmarks — the George Washington Carver Museum and The Oaks, the family home of Booker T. Washington.

A 2010 graduate of Hampton University, Lee has been on the fast track to success. Prior to returning home to Tuskegee, he interned at the White House with the Obama administration. He also worked as a governmental affairs liaison with the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education, advocating on behalf of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), which put him in position to serve Tuskegee University even before the 2012 election formalized this role.
