Mission Statement

The Mission of the Human Resource Management Department is to recruit, retain, and develop the best possible workforce for the City of Tuskegee. This will be achieved by the following actions:

  • Recruiting, orienting, and developing qualified and motivated employees
  • Assisting Employees with work related problems
  • Coordinating the City's benefits program
  • Assisting department with personnel matters

The City of Tuskegee is an Equal Opportunity Employer and applicants will be considered without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, veterans’ status, or disability.  All employees serve a probation period of 6 months (12 months for fire and police-public safety employees).  After successful completion of a probation period, employees are granted non-probationary status.
